It seems to be a fact of life that photographing work can be a major headache. Certainly some types of work are harder to photograph than others. I suppose it has to be accepted that it is impossible to represent some things satisfactorily - barely adequate is sometimes the best that can be hoped for, but the biggest worry is always that the image sells the work short. In the end we have to accept that there is no substitute for experiencing the work first-hand. Come to think of it, we should insist upon it!!
