One of the odd things about making many (most) of the current series of works is that, because they tend not to follow established principles, I have to work out the hows, from scratch, each time. I often have to start with how I am going to hang/stand/lean/suspend before anything else, for example. That's mostly what I have been doing of late. Sounds dull? Maybe, but these are just as technically important and as aesthetically and conceptually valid as any other considerations.
