I paced out the beach this morning, leaning forward in to an icy wind. The tide was out, and the beach was wide, flat, and firm. The surf rumbled and rolled, scrabbling away at the foot of the slope, ready to reclaim its own.
The first image shows the final pigmented coat prior to the next stage. I have been working on it since I took the picture, and should find out tomorrow if the past ten days or so have been wasted. The second shows the rope (60metres) for one of the other works.
